In obedience to Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…” Taking the Gospel outside the four walls is the absolute foundation of our church.
According to 1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever… it is true that the Gospel has the power to save and transform lives . We therefore testify and preach for a decision. A big number of the congregation in SOEM consist of people converted by the Power of God.
We strongly agree that, God has placed everything necessary to achieve His will in the setting of the local church. Ephesians 1:22-23 …the church. Which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. God’s will is accomplished in us and through us as connect and commit ourselves to a local church.
The highest calling of a Pastor and congregation is to obey God’s command in Matthew 28:19-20. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” As a result of this we aim to accomplish the above mandate by training and equipping believers within the setting of a local church.
The training and equipping of believers is solely for the purpose of releasing them into the harvest field. Matthew 9:37-38 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
The gospel message and the vision God has revealed to us is not simply British, but God-inspired; so therefore it works, and is relevant in every nation and culture of the world.Matthew 28:19 all the nations… Mark 16:15 all the world/every person… Our job as the local Church and believers, is to pray, train, invest, send and support workers to go into all the world!
10‘The Lord’s anger was aroused that day and he swore this oath: 11‘Because they have not followed me wholeheartedly, not one of those who were twenty years old or more when they came up out of Egypt will see the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – 12not one except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, for they followed the Lord wholeheartedly.’ 13The Lord’s anger burned against Israel and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the whole generation of those who had done evil in his sight was gone. (Numbers 32:10-13).
According to the Numbers 32:10-13 it is clear that the children of Israel were put in a “holding pattern” until all of the disobedient and cowardly adults had died . The reason behind the 40 years of wandering in the desert was not that the Wilderness Journey(See Map Opposite) was long to physically complete, but as a punishment for those refused to enter the Promised Land when they first had a chance to do so.
Joshua and Caleb were the only two men who had the courage and faith to report that the people should go up and take the land that God was giving them out of the twelve leaders by right sent into the Promised Land to gather information prior to what would have been the Israelites’ entry just a little more than two years after the Exodus (Numbers 10:11)
30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” 32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it…
